Wayside Figure and Historic Houses
Plewnia is home to a 19th-century wayside figure of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. House No. 8 dates from the early 20th century; House No. 12 is dated to around 1926. Houses Nos. 13, 20 and 21 date from the 1920s.
The history of residential buildings extends to further entries
The municipal register lists House No. 19 as dating from around 1930. This entry adds to the buildings mentioned, but describes a residential house, not a publicly operated attraction. A historic house number also does not indicate that accommodation is available there.
House No. 39 is listed in the national heritage database as a wooden residential building dating from 1890. A municipal entry, however, gives a date of around 1880. The records do not allow the two dates to be reconciled into a reliably precise construction date. This uncertainty should be retained in the description.
Small religious monuments in the wider municipality
In addition to the wayside figure in Plewnia, municipal records mention a wayside cross in Kosmów and a chapel in Przespolew Kościelny, both from the nineteenth century. The separate place names matter: a shared register does not make these objects part of Plewnia or establish a route from accommodation.
Anyone interested in these architectural and religious landmarks should confirm actual visiting opportunities. Regular opening hours, guided tours or publicly accessible interiors are not documented. In particular, the historic residential records do not support claiming that private houses are open to guests as museums.
A wooded landscape is not a verified trail network
Plewnia is named among the villages with the largest forest complexes in the 2021 municipal report. This provides a specific landscape reference, but identifies neither a particular circular trail nor public recreational access. For any routes actually planned, permitted use and current conditions should be checked separately.
A project to renovate a football field is also not a verified recreational offering in Plewnia: the entry concerns Nowa Plewnia and does not confirm that the work was completed. Therefore, the two place names should not be treated as interchangeable when looking for activities without supporting evidence.
Plan your stay around actual opportunities
For a visit that is actually possible, choose individual destinations rather than inventing an overall itinerary from the registers. Accommodation associated with Plewnia is not automatically next to a particular house, wayside figure or forest access point. For a booking, the exact address and confirmed availability matter.
The individual provider must confirm any required arrival times and services. A heritage listing does not establish amenities, an included excursion or a transfer connection. Keeping these distinctions clear makes the historical and landscape information useful without inventing access or accommodation features.
The dates refer to individual objects and do not constitute a shared age classification for all the houses in the village.
