On November 8, 2024, the “Welcome to our Mosque” program took place at Mariyam Jumma Mosque in Kumarimulla. More than 700 visitors of other faiths attended. They included Buddhist and Christian clergy, government employees, police officers, members of the Special Task Force, teachers, and students.

There was also a henna corner, an opportunity to try on a hijab, free calligraphy of visitors’ names, and traditional Muslim food.
