Two Cemeteries South of the Village

Southwest of Łęknica, a 19th-century cemetery lies on the forest road to Skandławki. Another cemetery from the same period is about 700 metres south of the village. It lies beside the paved road towards Srokowo, at the point where a forest track meets the former narrow-gauge railway embankment. Before making a special trip, it is advisable to check local access options. The location details distinguish the sites: the forest road to Skandławki lies to the southwest, while the site about 700 metres south is beside the paved road towards Srokowo, at the junction by the former railway embankment.

The facilities listed there include a tourist campsite, a pier, a shelter for anglers, a barbecue and campfire area, a volleyball court, a children's playground, and pedal boat, boat and kayak hire. It also mentions a car park, including free bicycle parking, and sanitary facilities with a shower and toilet. If you would like to include any of these facilities in your plans, check their current availability in advance. It is therefore a historically documented facility by Lake Rydzówka, not a site near the two cemeteries south of Łęknica. The listed sanitary facilities, parking, hire options, volleyball court and playground also refer to this complex in Leśniewo. If you plan to visit, check whether the individual facilities are currently in use before travelling.
