Several travel considerations come together around Łabędź: for getting there, there is a specifically named bus stop and road connections; nearby, a cycling route and a nature reserve add cultural and scenic highlights. Other water destinations are located within the municipality of Koniecpol.

Getting There and Road Connections

The timetable for line 142 for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2026 lists the “Łabędź I” stop on ul. Zielona. The line connects the Łabędź area with stops in Radoszewnica, Łysiny and Koniecpol. If you are travelling by bus, check the departure times for your travel date.

Road S 1084 runs through Łabędź and connects Raczkowice, Soborzyce and Radoszewnica; the road information was updated in 2024. S 1086 connects Łabędź with Stary Koniecpol and is listed as 7.579 km long; this road information was also updated in 2024. Another road section, no. 08411, is listed as 0.88 km between Raczkowice, Soborzyce and Łabędź. Its numbering or length may have changed.

Cycling Routes with Different Highlights

Near Łabędź, the Leśna educational cycling route passes historic defensive trenches and the grave of insurgents from 1863. There are eight information boards along the route. The trenches are part of German fortifications dating from 1944 on the right bank of the Pilica. The grave and trenches therefore represent different historical contexts.

Another cycling route nearby includes the manor and park complex in Radoszewnica, associated with the Ostrowski family manor house, as one of its stops. This offers an architectural and scenic highlight alongside the historic stops on the Leśna educational cycling route. The two routes focus on different themes rather than grouping the same sights together.

Nature Reserve and Water Destinations

The “Borek” nature reserve is located near Radoszewnica, close to Łabędź. The area includes open oak forests, alder riparian forest and typical alder swamp forest. These forest types give the reserve a character distinct from the routes focused on cycling and history, making it a separate nature highlight to consider when planning your trip.

The Szczekociny–Mniszew kayak route runs along the Pilica within the municipality of Koniecpol. It is internationally graded CL I; in places, the route includes sections of CL II. Check river conditions and access before setting out.

Also within the municipality of Koniecpol is a reservoir fed by the Białka River, intended mainly for anglers. Fishing access regulations may change. If you plan to fish there, check the current access conditions in advance.

The options by the water are quite different: the kayak route follows the Pilica, while the reservoir is mainly intended for fishing. When planning, you can therefore choose between a river trip and a destination primarily associated with angling.
