Adlig Kublitz (Kobylnica) can be explored via various routes and cultural attractions. Kobylnica lies at the end of a 30 km cycle route section, at the start of a 56 km section, and along a roughly 71 km black hiking trail. There is also a listed parish church in the town and other historic churches in the municipality. For planning purposes, it is therefore helpful to start with a simple distinction: are you looking for a cycling connection with Kobylnica as your destination or starting point, a longer hiking route, or a visit focused on religious buildings?

Cycle routes in different directions

The 30 km cycle route section runs from Ustka via Charnowo, Strzelino, Bierkowo and Słupsk to Kobylnica. Based on this sequence of places, Kobylnica is the destination of the section described. This means the route can be viewed as a connection from Ustka, clearly distinguishing its direction from the cycling connection that begins in Kobylnica.

The 56 km section runs from Kobylnica via Dębnica Kaszubska, Krzynia, Gałęźnia Mała and Osieki to Bytów. Here, Kobylnica is the starting point and Bytów the destination. With sections of 30 and 56 km, you can choose between routes of different lengths; the sequences of places also show which direction they take. For both cycle route sections, check the current signage on site.

Near the destination, a cycle route leads into the “Dolina Słupi” Landscape Park after passing through Kobylnica. The park is green and predominantly forested, and covers 37,000 ha. This adds a landscape perspective extending beyond Kobylnica to the connections between the places mentioned.

Hiking trail and landscape

The black hiking trail Szlak Doliny Wieprzy i Studnicy is around 71 km long. It runs from Słupsk via Kobylnica, Lubuń, Kwakowo, Lulemino, Zagórki and Korzybie to Miastko. Kobylnica therefore lies on the route between the two endpoints and is an intermediate stop on a longer connection. This distinguishes the hiking trail from the cycle route sections described above, which begin or end in Kobylnica. The route is marked in black; check its current markings on site if you include it in your plans.

Churches in Kobylnica and the municipality

The parish church of Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa in Kobylnica is entered in the monuments register and listed in the heritage inventory. Historic churches have also been preserved in Kobylnica, Kuleszewo, Sierakowo Słupskie, Kwakowo, Zębowo and Słonowice, within the municipality of Kobylnica. Most of these churches can be visited along the designated Szlak Zabytków Sakralnych.

For a visit focused on cultural heritage, there are two options: the specifically named parish church in the town, and other churches in the places mentioned across the municipality. If you use the religious heritage trail as your guide, note that it provides access to most churches, not explicitly all of them. This lets you focus your cultural visit on Kobylnica or include the wider selection across the municipality.

Canoe launch sites in the municipality

In 2018, two new canoe launch sites were opened in Łosino and Lubuń in the municipality of Kobylnica. If you are planning a canoe trip that includes these places, check in advance whether the respective launch sites are currently accessible for use.
