A memorial in the centre of Nowe Kramsko brings local history to life at a precisely identified site. Near the parish church, it commemorates seven insurgents who fell in the fighting around Nowe Kramsko on 2 and 3 February 1919. Their names are engraved on the front. The monument was erected on a concrete plinth in 1959; a chain fence on metal posts surrounds it. In this way, the inscription and date draw attention to seven specific people and two precisely identified days of fighting.

The Memorial and Neoclassical Parish Church

The parish church is neoclassical, offering a second, architectural perspective on Nowe Kramsko. It is also mentioned as a stop on a described cycling route. When planning your trip, you can distinguish between the two attractions: the memorial commemorates those who fell, while the church is characterised by its architectural style. Together, they provide a tangible connection to the place through history and architecture.

Culture: Festival Year and Project Goal

Another cultural highlight was the 25th Nowe Kramsko Regional Culture Festival in 2025. Singing, dancing and celebrating a shared sense of identity shaped the event.

On 25 September 2026, the Municipality of Babimost described a project to comprehensively modernise and revitalise the historic Pałacyk Rudeliusa building in Nowe Kramsko. The project was intended to preserve and renew its historic value and adapt the building for contemporary library and cultural functions. This cultural reference therefore centres on a project goal. Three distinct dates provide the context: the monument commemorates the fighting of 1919, the festival took place in 2025, and on 25 September 2026 the municipality described a revitalisation project for Pałacyk Rudeliusa in Nowe Kramsko.

Cycling Around Nowe Kramsko

A 25 km circular route runs from Babimost through Leśniki, Linie, Wojnowo, Stare Kramsko, Kolesin and Nowe Kramsko, returning to Babimost. In Nowe Kramsko, the parish church is listed as a stop. The ride takes about five hours. This approximate duration helps you plan the loop as a full-day activity rather than a short detour. Check current route conditions before setting off.

At the time of the description, additional cycling routes with a total length of more than 10 km were under development. Their route ran from Janowiec through Kolesin, Nowe Kramsko and Babimost to Podmokle Wielkie and Podmokle Małe. This is a different kind of planning information from that for the 25 km circular route: here, the development status and sequence of places are given, while the other route includes a return leg and an approximate riding time.
