Championsgate’s golf offerings range from two 18-hole championship courses to lessons, mini golf and Toptracer hitting bays. When planning your trip, the first thing to consider is how you want to play: a round of golf, focused training or another way to play each calls for a different approach. You can also search for a vacation rental based on the activities you actually plan to enjoy.

Championship Courses and Golf Lessons

ChampionsGate Golf Club has two 18-hole championship courses designed by Greg Norman. The facility is also home to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. It offers individual and family lessons, including on-course instruction and supervised practice sessions. If you want to include lessons in your plans, you can distinguish these offerings from playing a round on your own: the Academy offers both individual instruction and guided practice.

The course descriptions also highlight different features. The International Course is designed in a coastal links style and has water on every hole. The National Course winds through 200 acres of secluded woodlands, wetlands and former orange groves over 18 holes. If you choose a course based on its described surroundings, you can weigh the water features of the International Course against the mix of woodlands, wetlands and former orange groves on the National Course.

Practice, Toptracer and Mini Golf

The Champs Par 3 Course is a lit, 10-hole course. It’s suitable for beginners and for practicing your short game. Crane's Adventure Golf offers a different experience: this family-friendly mini golf course has 18 themed holes. So the options differ not only in the number of holes but also in their focus—from practicing short shots to playing a themed round of mini golf.

Eagles Edge at ChampionsGate adds 30 state-of-the-art hitting bays equipped with Toptracer technology. Guests are welcome to play for fun without a reservation, though reservations are recommended. Complimentary rental clubs are available, or you can bring your own. This makes it easy to decide in advance whether to book a reservation at Eagles Edge and whether to use your own equipment.

More Amenities and Seasonal Events

ChampionsGate Country Club has a golf course designed by George Clifton, with an aqua driving range. Champions Grill serves breakfast and lunch and has a full-service bar. Menus and services can change, so it’s best to check what’s currently available before your visit.

Eagles Edge also offers food and drinks: the menu features all-American classics, handcrafted cocktails and craft beers. Menus may change, so check the current selection in advance if you plan to eat there.

The ChampionsGate Clubhouse hosts a seasonal sunset tradition from fall through spring, featuring bagpipe music and views of the sunset over the 10th tee. If this event is important to your trip, check in advance whether it takes place during your travel dates.

When looking for a vacation rental in Championsgate, it helps to decide what you want to focus on first: will your stay be mainly about playing the courses, training or another way to play?
