A light interpretive programme entitled “Testemunhos das variações ao nível do mar em Albufeira” was held in 2023 on 23 July and again on 17 September. The route covered five kilometres between Praia do Castelo and Praia da Galé, and the programme lasted three hours. The difference lies in the focus: the walks draw attention to the cliffs’ erosion features, while the programme combined a set route and duration with its own interpretive format.
Water Sports and Triathlon

The “Triatlo de Albufeira” was also held at Praia da Galé: its eighth edition took place there in 2022. The competition comprised three disciplines: swimming, cycling and running.
