The Radew, a former manor park and a 14-hectare lake give Niedalino distinct points of interest for a stay combining countryside, local history and routes. The village lies on the Radew and along provincial road 167. When planning, it is worth distinguishing routes by mode of transport and course: a designated kayak route is complemented by two cycling routes, each with its own course.

Manor Park, Lake and Old Trees

The former manor park lies in the centre of Niedalino. It was established in the second half of the 19th century and, together with the adjacent Jezioro Niedalino, forms a connected landscape complex. The lake covers 14 hectares. The park’s old trees include silver birches, European beeches, ash trees, maples and horse chestnuts. The park can thus be described both by the period in which it was established and by the tree species found there; the lake is part of the landscape description as an immediately adjacent feature.

Church and Local History

Niedalino has a single-nave church dedicated to Our Lady of Częstochowa. It has no tower and no separate chancel. Its design, dedication and these two architectural features give the church a distinct character. It formerly served as a cemetery chapel; a cemetery dating from the late 19th century surrounds the building. The church’s history is therefore connected with that of the cemetery, while the manor park forms a separate focus of landscape history.

Distinguishing the Kayak Route and Cycling Routes

The 58-kilometre Radew Kayak Route passes through Niedalino. Along this route, you can see a historic hydroelectric power station in the village. The blue Palace Route leads from Niedalino along a forest path beside the Radew and Jezioro Hajka towards Rosnowo. The red Trasa Słoneczna, by contrast, runs through the village as a circular route: Manowo – Niedalino – Rosnowo – Zacisze – Manowo. This distinction is useful for navigation: the blue Palace Route is described as running from Niedalino towards Rosnowo, while the red route is a circuit that starts and ends in Manowo. The kayak route is clearly distinct from both in terms of its length and its different mode of transport.

Water and Excursions Nearby

The Hajka hydroelectric power station lies in the nearby forests. Recreational opportunities on Jezioro Hajka are also close to Niedalino; quieter sections of the lake are suitable for less experienced kayakers. The Radew, on which Niedalino lies, is within a protected area. Nearby, it is considered calm and scenic, and is suitable for kayaking and fishing. The range of possible activities therefore extends from local history and parkland to pursuits on the water. If you are comparing kayaking options, the note about quieter stretches on Jezioro Hajka is a useful point of reference alongside the Radew Kayak Route.
