When looking for a hotel in Kliniska Małe, compare options based on your travel dates and the terms of each offer. The broader destination of Gollnow provides regional context and a range of things to explore: the history of Goleniów, protected landscapes and designated trails. This can help you decide whether culture, nature or outdoor activities should be the focus of your trip.

History and culture in Gollnow

In the town of Goleniów stands Brama Wolińska, also known as Brama Chrobrego: a defensive gate built in the Gothic style in the 14th century. It is 26 metres high and has six storeys. Significant sections of the medieval town walls remain; the most interesting and best-preserved section lies to the southwest of the old town, by the Ina River. The gate and the wall offer different insights into the town’s historic fortifications.

The Goleniowska Aleja Legend, a riverside promenade along the Ina renovated in 2013, offers a different cultural focus. Granite sculptures depict local legends. Here, the emphasis is on storytelling, whereas Brama Wolińska and the town wall are defined primarily by their defensive architecture.

Twierdza Design is a historic industrial site in Goleniów that originated as a railway water tower. The tower was renovated in 2019–2020; the site is used by social organisations. This adds an example of later industrial history to the town’s medieval heritage.

The Miejski Szlak Turystyczny takes visitors to architectural monuments and places of interest in Goleniów. It is marked with so-called blue footprints. This distinctive marking sets the town trail apart from the green routes elsewhere in the broader destination of Gollnow.

Natural areas and trails in the destination of Gollnow

The Wilcze Uroczysko nature reserve spans the municipalities of Goleniów and Stepnica and covers just under 63 hectares. It protects a marshland and valuable riparian forests; the area also provides a refuge for white-tailed eagles. Established in 1973, Uroczysko Święta is smaller, at 9.5 hectares. This floristic reserve is located in the Goleniów Forest District and protects part of a deciduous forest stand. The two protected areas therefore differ both in size and in the specific habitats mentioned.

Trail descriptions of varying lengths are available for walking and cycling trips. The green PTTK Szlak Borów Goleniowskich hiking trail is 17.1 kilometres long, well marked and recommended especially for hikers and cyclists. It runs between Krzewno, Łęsko, Pucko and Kliniska Wielkie. A 45-kilometre green cycling route passes through Goleniów, Żdzary, Łaniego, Krępsko, Miękowo, Żółwią Błoć, Niewiadowo, Glewice, Stacja PKP Mosty, Burowo and Mosty. The Sentimental Cycling Route is 13 kilometres long and runs through Borzysławiec, Lubczyna, Czarna Łąka, Pucice and Rurzyca. The routes range in length from 13 to 17.1 to 45 kilometres; walking and cycling are specifically recommended uses of the PTTK trail.

In Lubczyna, Przystań Jachtowa offers water-based tourism. The marina has three basins with space for around 35 inland yachts and 15 sea-going yachts. If you plan to moor, check availability in advance.
