For a trip to Karlino, cycling and a specific date in June can serve as two different planning anchors. One cycling route runs along the Parsęta to the kayak station, and another goes to Brzeźno; there is also the annual Noc Świętojańska. You can first decide whether a particular cycling destination or the timing of your visit is more important for your trip.

Cycling routes with different destinations

The cycling route along the Parsęta in Karlino runs to the kayak station and is about 1.5 km long. With the kayak station as your destination, you can plan the approximately 1.5 km ride precisely. If you are looking for a short bike ride with a specific endpoint, you can use this information as a guide. It differs from the second route not only in distance, but also because that route’s destination is Brzeźno.

The second route is 2.7 km long and runs from the Bike-&-Ride point in Karlino to the Homanit Polska facility in Brzeźno. At around 1.2 km longer than the approximately 1.5 km route to the kayak station, it is the longer of the two. The cycling routes can therefore be compared by destination and length: one runs along the Parsęta to the kayak station, the other to Brzeźno. If you are choosing between them, you can first decide which destination is relevant to your ride; the distance in kilometres can then help you compare the route lengths.

Cycling infrastructure in Karlino

The infrastructure on ul. Kolejowa is also relevant for getting around by bicycle. In Karlino, there is a Bike-&-Ride station there with a self-service bicycle repair station and covered bicycle parking. The station thus provides information about parking and carrying out your own repairs; for route selection, however, the destination remains the deciding factor. When planning your ride, you can consider these specific facilities alongside the route lengths.

Noc Świętojańska in June

Another date to note is Noc Świętojańska, also called Sobótka. The event takes place every year on the night of 23–24 June at the kayak marina in Karlino. If you would like to include it in your stay, choose travel dates that include that night. The June date thus provides a specific timing reference, while the cycling routes, with their lengths and destinations, are more useful for choosing a ride.

For planning purposes, the kayak station is the destination of the shorter cycling route, while Sobótka takes place at the kayak marina.

To plan your trip, you can first choose your cycling destination and then decide whether your travel dates should also include the night of Sobótka. The bicycle station on ul. Kolejowa provides a separate practical reference point in the town.
