Folklore on 2 August 2025

On 2 August 2025, the 27th Spotkania z Folklorem (Folklore Gathering) took place in Szałkowo. The artistic programme featured 15 folklore groups. The event was also linked to a local round of the nationwide culinary competition “Bitwa Regionów 2025” (“Battle of the Regions 2025”). Folklore performances and a culinary competition thus came together at this event. The specific date places the event in the past and offers a glimpse of the cultural programme through which Szałkowo brings together folklore and regional cuisine.
