A combined pedestrian and cycle path connects the centre of Sasino-Stilo with beach access point No. 51. Sasino also has Baltic Sea beaches and destinations with a different focus: a nearby nature reserve, a manor house and park complex, and the history of the Belle Aliance Palace. When choosing where to stay, you can therefore decide whether the coast, outdoor paths, or parkland and architectural history should be the deciding factor.

Beach Access and Paths

The route to the beach is a combined pedestrian and cycle path. Its endpoints are specific: the centre of Sasino-Stilo and beach access point No. 51. If you plan to travel on foot or by bike, you can include this connection as a separate part of your beach plans. Sasino also has Baltic Sea beaches; the path leads to one specific access point. This places the general connection to the coast alongside a specific route between the centre and the beach.

A water supply network was laid along the pedestrian and cycle path. Among other things, it is intended to supply sanitary facilities at the beach and other recreational facilities.

Nature Destinations and Coastal Landscape

The Choczewskie Cisy nature reserve is another destination near Sasino. You can travel there by car or take a PKS bus to Sasino; from there, you need to walk about 2 km. You can account for this walk as a separate leg of your trip. If you travel by PKS bus, it is advisable to check the timetable in advance.

This distinguishes the excursion from the route to beach access point No. 51: there, a path for pedestrians and cyclists connects the centre with the access point; for the nature reserve, the journey to Sasino is followed by an approximate walking distance.

The Stilo Lighthouse adds another landscape feature. It stands on a high, wooded dune, 1,000 m from the coastline. This specific location adds a distinct coastal point of reference to the routes to the beach and nature reserve.

Parkland and History

The Sasinko manor house and park complex is located near Sasino, 1.5 km from the centre of the village. Its park covers 8 ha and is laid out in the style of an English garden. The two figures answer different orientation questions: 1.5 km locates the complex in relation to the village centre, while 8 ha describes the area of the park. The garden style adds a sense of the grounds’ character to these measurements and gives the place a different focus from the beach access point or nature reserve.

The stately Belle Aliance Palace was built north of Sasino in 1862. This historical reference adds architectural history to the parkland. If you are interested in park design, the Sasinko complex has a specific area and a described garden style; if you are looking for historical architecture, you can consider Belle Aliance as a separate point of interest.

The distances refer to different points: 1.5 km from the village centre to the park complex, about 2 km on foot from Sasino to the nature reserve, and 1,000 m from the coastline to the lighthouse. For orientation, the stated starting point or point of reference is therefore important in each case.
