Those planning to include forest trails and a viewpoint in Kamienicki Mlyn in their trip will find two marked route options: Nordic Walking Route No. 10 starts at the car park below the viewing terrace on Zamkowa Góra. On Route No. 2, signposts lead to the summit and the terrace, which offers a panorama of six lakes.
Nordic Walking Route and Forest Trails
From the car park in Kamienicki Mlyn, Route No. 10 initially follows the markings. After about 70 m, it turns left towards Kamienicki Mlyn, then after another 60 m turns right onto a field track leading to the forest along the fields.
The route begins with an uphill climb on a winding gravel track through the forest. It then continues along forest paths through beech woods. When choosing Nordic Walking Route No. 10, the main features to consider are the uphill, winding gravel track and the forest paths through beech woods that follow. As markings and ground conditions may change, pay attention to the signs along the way.
Zamkowa Góra and the View of Six Lakes
On Route No. 2 – Kamienicki Młyn, marked signposts lead to the summit of Zamkowa Góra and the viewing terrace. The panorama includes Białe, Czarne, Junno, Kamienickie, Odnoga and Potęgowskie. Zamkowa Góra is 229.5 m high and is located in the municipality of Kartuzy, right on the border with the municipality of Sierakowice and near Kamienicki Mlyn.
The viewing terrace is a shared reference point in the two route descriptions, but plays a different role in each: Route No. 10 starts at the car park below the terrace, while Route No. 2 follows marked signposts to the summit and terrace. If you choose trails by destination, these give you a named starting point and a viewpoint to aim for. Route No. 10 is characterised by its uphill, winding gravel track and beech-forest paths; Route No. 2 follows marked signposts to a panorama of six lakes.
