Przejazdowo offers two concrete starting points for exploring: historical local connections and cycling routes with named destinations. Its history can be placed in context through an early mention, a historical place name, and its affiliation with a monastery; the cycling routes differ in their paths and destinations.

Local History and Historic Residential Buildings

The first documented mention of Przejazdowo dates from 1399. Quadendorff is the historical name of the place. From 1446, Przejazdowo belonged to the Carthusian monastery “Raj Maryi” for more than a century. For a brief chronology, the first mention and the later start of its affiliation with the monastery can be viewed as distinct milestones; Quadendorff adds the earlier place name to this history.

Two residential buildings provide a specific architectural highlight. The wooden residential building at Jesionowa 20 is listed in the register of monuments. The residential building at Jesionowa 14 dates from the second half of the 19th century. These details offer different ways to explore the history of the buildings: at Jesionowa 20, the focus is on its construction and listed status; at Jesionowa 14, on its date. Anyone interested in historic architecture can consider these two details separately.

Cycling Connections with Different Destinations

A modern paved cycle path runs through Przejazdowo to Wiślinka and onward to the beach on Sobieszewo. The sequence of destinations makes the direction of this route clear: first Wiślinka, then the beach. As route conditions can change, check the current route before setting out.

There is also the R10 connecting route “Przejazdowo–Pruszcz Gdański”, for which a GPX download is available. The EuroVelo 9 connection, also known as the Wiślana Trasa Rowerowa, runs from Pruszcz Gdański railway station to Przejazdowo. Both descriptions refer to Pruszcz Gdański, but differ in their route names and in that the railway station is named as the starting point for the EuroVelo or Wiślana connection.

The specific destination is therefore helpful when choosing a ride: the route via Wiślinka continues to the beach on Sobieszewo; Przejazdowo and Pruszcz Gdański appear in the name of the R10 route. The EuroVelo 9 or Wiślana Trasa Rowerowa starts at Pruszcz Gdański railway station and runs to Przejazdowo. Checking the route name and destinations helps you identify the connection that suits your plans.

Plan for Bicycle Rental

Since August 2025, there has been a MEVO bicycle rental station on ul. Główna, with the code GPG014. If you plan to rent a bicycle, check availability in advance. The station and the cycling connections described answer different questions: the location is relevant for planning a rental, while the routes name their respective destinations and connection points.
