Rynia lies along several marked routes that differ in length and scenery. There is also a chapel dating from 1948 and a playground on Główna Street. To plan your visit, you can compare the routes around Lake Zegrzyńskie with a shared pedestrian and cycling path between Białobrzegi and Rynia. A beach in nearby Białobrzegi adds options outside the village.
Marked routes through Rynia
The blue-marked Trasa Liwecka is 8.7 km long. It passes through Nieporęt and Białobrzegi, as well as Rynia, and continues to the bridge over the Rządza River near Siwek. A large part of the route runs along the embankment by Lake Zegrzyńskie; some sections pass through forests. Rynia is therefore a place along the way, not the endpoint. If you are planning the tour in detail, check the current route, as details may change.
The yellow-marked Szlak Nieporęcki also passes through Rynia and is 42.4 km long. It winds along the embankment of Lake Zegrzyńskie and then continues through meadows and forests. Compared with the 8.7 km Trasa Liwecka, this is a considerably longer designated route. The landscapes described also differ: the Trasa Liwecka includes some forest sections, while the Szlak Nieporęcki continues from the embankment through meadows and forests. The routes’ lengths and sequence of landscapes therefore give you concrete points of comparison when choosing between them.
Another blue-marked cycling route runs for 27 km around Lake Zegrzyńskie. It passes through Białobrzegi, Rynia, Wolica, Arciechów, Serock, Zegrzynek, Jadwisin and Zegrze, and includes two ferry crossings. If you plan to ride this loop, check the ferry schedules in advance. This lets you account for the ferry crossings in your plans without confusing them with the details of the other routes.
A 2.1 km shared pedestrian and cycling path runs along Wczasowa Street between Białobrzegi and Rynia, from Kąpielowa Street to Główna Street. It connects the two places and does not lie entirely within Rynia. Compared with the longer marked routes, this designated route is shorter; it is also a connection between Białobrzegi and Rynia, not a loop around the lake.
Chapel and playground in the village
A chapel dating from 1948 stands at the intersection of Radzymińska and Główna streets. It is a brick structure with a niche; a figure of the Virgin Mary stands in the glazed niche. If you are looking for a specific cultural point of interest as well as routes, you will find a single building here with clearly described features and a known location.
Another place to visit is the children’s playground at 24A Główna Street. Its facilities include swings, slides and sandpits. If you are planning a visit with children, you can include the playground as a separate destination; the listed play equipment makes clear what visitors can expect to find there. The chapel and playground offer different reasons to explore Rynia beyond the longer routes.
Beach in nearby Białobrzegi
For a beach visit, head to nearby Białobrzegi: north of the Rewita holiday centre, a beach stretches in the direction of Rynia and is popular with water sports enthusiasts. Equipment can be rented there and secured at a pier. If you want to use the rental service or pier, check their current availability before your visit. This makes the beach a specific addition to routes in and through Rynia, without suggesting that it is within Rynia itself.
