Two protected natural monuments in the village, waterscapes and traces of earlier land use give Chlebice a varied character. When planning, you can consider its features at different scales: from an individual tree in the village to a route through several places and the landscape in the surrounding area.

English oaks and waterscapes

Two protected English oaks stand in Chlebice. The municipal strategy for 2024 to 2030 lists both as natural monuments. Their trunk circumferences are 4.2 and 3.1 metres, making it possible to compare two trees in the same place using a clear measurement. The oaks offer a tangible connection with nature in the village.

Near Chlebice is a 14.3-hectare complex of ponds fed by forest ditches. A river also runs through a pronounced valley in the surrounding area. The waterscapes differ for planning your excursions: one is a pond area with a stated surface area and water source, while the other is a river valley with a distinctive landform. This gives you two different natural settings to enjoy during a stay in the area.

Cycling with a clearly specified section

The blue cycle route runs via Grabów, Chlebice, Dębinka, Zajączek and Jędrzychowice, continuing towards Przewóz. A six-kilometre section of this route passes through Mużaków Landscape Park. This figure refers to the section in the park, not the entire route. This distinction is useful when planning: the six kilometres describe the park section, while the cycle route as a whole passes through several of the places mentioned. If you plan to include the route in a specific ride, check its current course and trail conditions beforehand.

Mill ruins and manor park

A description of an educational cycling tour from 2014 mentions the ruins of a mill on the Rzeczyca (Tymnica) River in Chlebice. A publication from 2008 describes a landscape park in the north-west of the village, on the road to Czerna, as part of the remains of a former manor estate. The two traces have different emphases: the mill ruins by the river are the focus in one case, while the park’s connection with a former manor estate is the focus in the other.

Accommodation on the edge of the village

The name “Gościniec pod dwoma sercami Chlebice” is associated with the address Chlebice 6 in the municipality of Tuplice. The guesthouse is housed in an inn more than 120 years old and is on the edge of the village, beside a coniferous forest rich in wildlife. Its surroundings are described as a habitat for black storks, white-tailed eagles and waterfowl, as well as a refuge for red deer, roe deer and wild boar. The accommodation is therefore located specifically in the village and in its forest-rich surroundings.

Numerous stocked ponds and lakes near the guesthouse are described as suitable for anglers. If fishing is important to you, check in advance whether access is possible.
