The post-Augustinian monastery complex in Żagań was designated a Pomnik Historii, a historic monument of Poland, in 2011. The Ścieżka „Park Słowiański“ (Słowiański Park Trail) passes through a city park with a variety of woodland habitats, park ponds, the Bóbr River and the archaeological site „Gród Chrobry“.
