Ozorzyce brings together several distinct themes: Route 3, described in 2001, passes through the village; masses for a good harvest are traditionally held at a chapel in late spring; and a residential building is listed as a historic monument. There is also the outdoor area of the village community hall, as well as traditional Polish cuisine and accommodation at Zajazd Wiejski. This lets you consider route planning, local history and finding somewhere to stay as separate parts of your visit.

Putting routes through Ozorzyce in context

Route 3 Tyniec Mały–Żórawina–Tyniec Mały, described in 2001, passes through Ozorzyce and is 63.5 km long. In the historical route description, Route 3 runs from Ozorzyce towards Turów, crosses a motorway and a railway crossing, and then continues to Żórawina. The figures given for Ozorzyce are also 26.0 km, a time of 1 hour 45 minutes and an elevation of 138 m. This stage information should not be confused with the total length: 63.5 km is the length of the entire route, while the other figures are listed for Ozorzyce. As the route information dates from 2001, check current route conditions before setting out.

A route description published on 29 May 2025 runs from Żerniki Wrocławskie to Żórawina through Ozorzyce. Along the way, it passes, among other places, a former manor house and farm buildings dating from the early 20th century. These buildings add a cultural and historical dimension to the route. Unlike Route 3, the focus here is on specific historic buildings along the way, rather than a stated total distance with figures for Ozorzyce.

The chapel and local history

A municipal newsletter for January/February 2026 describes a tradition at the chapel on ul. Krasińskiego: in late spring, masses are traditionally held there for a good agricultural harvest. The connection between a religious celebration and prayers for a successful harvest makes this a seasonal occasion. If you would like to plan your visit around it, check the exact date.

The residential building at ul. Krasińskiego 3 is listed as a historic monument in the municipality’s 2016 heritage register. The chapel represents a recurring religious occasion, while the house is a historic building at a specific address. The two references therefore offer different perspectives on local history.

Community facilities, cuisine and accommodation

The municipal newsletter for January/February 2026 also describes the outdoor area of the village community hall. It includes a multi-purpose sports court, a playground, a small fitness area, a barbecue and a gazebo. The facilities range from exercise and play to a barbecue and gazebo, giving visitors a different focus from the route and history themes.

The restaurant “Zajazd Wiejski” serves traditional Polish cuisine. If you plan to visit the restaurant as part of your day, check its current opening hours. Zajazd Wiejski offers 12 guest-room beds as well as a car park. You can take these details into account when searching; check availability for your travel dates before committing to the accommodation.
