Its surviving medieval walls and Renaissance rooms tell the story of different building periods. Other themes for a stay include the long construction history of the Parish Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, paths along Jezioro Bystrzyckie and the stone Bystrzyca Dam, which is considered a technical monument. This makes it possible to plan a trip around culture, time by the water, or activities on foot and by bike.

The Parish Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Zagórze Śląskie was first mentioned in 1376. Its present form dates to around 1500; the church was remodelled in the 19th century. Its first mention, present-day appearance and later remodelling mark different stages in its history.
The stone Bystrzyca Dam was built between 1911 and 1914 to protect the surrounding villages from flooding. It is considered a technical monument. Its history adds a technical perspective on the region to its medieval and religious themes.
Hiking and Time by Jezioro Bystrzyckie
An approximately 3-kilometre hiking trail runs through the “Góra Choina” nature reserve and around Jezioro Bystrzyckie. A hiking trail leads from the centre of the village to Zamek Grodno, then along the lake to Zapora Bystrzycka. These waypoints provide a practical guide for planning a route between the village centre, castle, lake and dam.
A multi-span suspension bridge with a band structure connects the shores of Jezioro Bystrzyckie. Leisure activities around the lake include pedal boats, kayaks, sailboats and excursion boats; offerings may vary by operator. Swimming spots are available in summer. Check local conditions before your visit if you plan to swim.
At the Centrum Obsługi Ruchu Turystycznego in Zagórze Śląskie, there is an aquarium with swimming fish and information about the formation of Jezioro Bystrzyckie. Visitors can also take part in educational activities on environmental protection, especially water conservation. This adds an educational perspective on the lake's formation and the subject of water to the activities by the lake.
