Przysieczyn can be explored through three different points of interest: a horse-riding route, a cycling route and historic traces. The 10 km horse-riding route runs from Przysieczyn via Wiatrowo to Wiatrowo Las. A cycling route starts and ends in WÄ…growiec and passes through Przysieczyn, among other places. The village is also home to a Protestant cemetery dating from the second half of the 19th century. A wooden residential house from Przysieczyn is now in the open-air museum of the Muzeum Kultury Ludowej in Osiek nad NoteciÄ…. When planning your trip, it is helpful to distinguish between these points of interest: the routes differ in their courses and means of transport, and the residential house is not in Przysieczyn itself.

Horse riding and cycling: different routes

The horse-riding route is listed as 10 km long. It runs from Przysieczyn via Wiatrowo to Wiatrowo Las. This gives you both a specific distance and a sequence of places to help plan an outing. Wiatrowo also appears on the cycling route; however, these are different routes, not one combined trail. When weighing up these options for your stay, you can first decide whether you would prefer a horse-riding trail or a cycling route. The horse-riding route offers a clearly defined sequence from the starting point in Przysieczyn, via Wiatrowo, to Wiatrowo Las.

The cycling route starts and ends in Wągrowiec. It passes through Ostrowo Młyn, Żelazka, Wiatrowo, Przysieczyn and Długa Wieś; the route description also gives the number 16. The order of the places is helpful for navigation: Przysieczyn lies along a route that starts and finishes in Wągrowiec. You can therefore distinguish the cycling route by its circuit and the places listed from the 10 km horse-riding route. Both routes pass through Wiatrowo, but their other listed places and the respective means of transport give them distinct characteristics.

Historic traces in and around Przysieczyn

Przysieczyn is home to a Protestant cemetery dating from the second half of the 19th century. Its historical period makes it a specific point of interest in the village. Also of interest to visitors with a focus on cultural history is the story of a wooden residential house: it comes from Przysieczyn but is now located elsewhere. The cemetery and the house are therefore two separate historical points of interest in different locations.

The wooden residential house, dating from the early 19th century, is in the open-air museum of the Muzeum Kultury Ludowej in Osiek nad Notecią. It was moved there from Przysieczyn. This makes it easy to distinguish the building’s origin from its current location: Przysieczyn is its original home, while its present location is Osiek nad Notecią. The house extends the historical perspective beyond the cemetery in the village, without confusing the two attractions. If you are interested in the history of the village, you can explore these two points of interest separately: the cemetery in Przysieczyn and the relocated house in the open-air museum.
