Adolfowo has an artificial-turf sports field and an outdoor fitness area; the surrounding Margonin municipality is also characterised by forests and lakes. This distinction is useful for planning: the two sports facilities are in Adolfowo, while churches, the palace and water-based activities are in the Margonin municipality.
Sports right in Adolfowo
The multi-purpose sports field with artificial turf is intended mainly for football, rugby and American football. A modern outdoor fitness area, with equipment for exercising different parts of the body, is also available to residents and tourists for active leisure and recreation. The field and fitness area offer different ways to get moving: ball sports on artificial turf and outdoor workouts using fitness equipment.
Cultural history in the Margonin municipality
Margonin is home to the late Baroque parish church dedicated to Saint Adalbert. It dates from the early 18th century and was remodelled in 1753–1755. The three-aisled hall church features Rococo confessionals, an altar and a pulpit. Thus, the building’s late Baroque classification is complemented by several characteristic Rococo features.
The Neo-Gothic palace of the von Schwichow family was built between 1842 and 1852 on the site of the former Skórzewski family residence. The park beside the palace was laid out by Fryderyk Skórzewski in 1788. The church, palace and park reflect different periods of architecture and design. A community thanksgiving celebration is also part of Adolfowo’s more recent history: it took place on 30 August 2025.
Lakes, beach and water sports
A water-ski lift was built on Lake Margonińskie, in the Margonin municipality, in 2010 and began operating in 2011. The four-mast RIXEN lift is 960 metres long; its main cable is 10 metres above the water. Operating conditions may change. If you plan to use the lift, check the latest operating information in advance.
A description published in December 2022 mentions several jetties at the beach in Margonin, a water sports equipment rental service, and kayakers and stand-up paddleboarders who are regularly seen there. Before your trip, check whether the rental service and water sports activities will be available during your visit. In 2013, a complex with water slides and a playground for children was also built at the town beach. It is open to residents and tourists in the municipality. Opening is seasonal and may change; check the latest hours before your visit.
Fishing is available at Lake Margonińskie, Lake Zbyszewickie and the “Rutki” reservoir. The waters are gradually stocked with fish twice a year; there are no large-scale fish removals. Before fishing, check the rules currently in force and whether a permit is required.
Routes in the municipality

These connections are part of the municipality’s transport network; they should not be confused with a single route in Adolfowo.
