In Glen Murray, gentle trails and challenging hills sit side by side for dirt biking. There are also horse treks through hilly terrain and local places with their own history and cultural significance. What you should know beforehand depends on whether youâre looking for riding instruction, a horse trek, a look at the areaâs history or access to the water.
Dirt Biking: Trails and Riding Instruction
Thundercross Valley Dirt Bike Park covers 750 acres of gently rolling hills. Its well-maintained trails run through working farmland. Riding options range from gentle trails to challenging hills, catering to riders of all ages and skill levels.
You donât need a motorcycle licence or prior experience to visit the park. Thundercross offers lessons for beginners and more experienced riders, including sessions on your own motorcycle. The coaches teach riders to ride a motorcycle independently, regardless of age or fitness level. Those with prior experience who want to improve their skills can also consider advanced coaching.
The rental fleet includes 18 motorcycles with engine capacities from 50 to 300 cc. As availability can change, check current availability before making plans. Participation requirements may also change; confirm the current details in advance.
Horse Treks and What to Bring
At Smitty's Ridge, horse treks take you through hilly terrain. Participants receive a horse-riding safety briefing and are matched with a suitable horse. Bookings are required. Youâll need closed-toe shoes or boots for the trek; check the latest booking and equipment information before your visit.
