The Gomeni Mansion in Ágios Ioánnis is attributed to Maria Petrettini, a niece of Maria Petrettini from Alexandros. Its approximate construction date is 1773; this dating may be incorrect. The origin of the building material is also stated with a qualification: it is said to have been brought from Venice. The Venetian architect Luppi designed the mansion and was considered one of the best-known architects of his time.
The three floors have different functions: the ground floor serves as a storage area, the first floor contains reception rooms, and the second floor has ancillary rooms. The layout gives the building a clearly structured architectural profile.

The G. Korakianitis Art Gallery is next to the central square of Ágios Ioánnis, in a garden of five stremmata. The gallery was founded in 1994.
