Isneauville offers several distinct themes for visitors: at the Église paroissiale Saint-Germain, building phases from the 13th to the 19th century can be distinguished; alongside this, there are cultural events, racket sports, walks and French cuisine. The parish church tells the story of the building’s history, the Colombier at the Manoir des pépinières has been transformed into a venue for gatherings and temporary cultural events, and the Padel Arena brings together three sports. This gives you a range of themes to choose from when planning your stay.
The Church of Saint-Germain and its building history
The Église paroissiale Saint-Germain preserves 13th-century remains in its bell tower. Further building phases date to the third quarter of the 18th century and the third quarter of the 19th century; a 16th-century building phase has been destroyed. These dates mark different periods in the building’s history, not a single period of construction.
The church also has a three-aisled interior, sculptures and stained-glass windows. Its layout and furnishings offer points of interest distinct from the dating of its building phases: the three aisles describe the structure of the interior, while the sculptures and stained-glass windows are artistic features. Anyone interested in architecture can consider these aspects separately and view them alongside the surviving remains in the bell tower and the later building phases.
Cultural venues and the “Arts & Couleurs” Salon
In 2022, the Colombier at the Manoir des pépinières was completely renovated inside and out and transformed into a venue for gatherings and temporary cultural events. Its focus thus differs from that of the church: Saint-Germain represents building history, while the Colombier is a venue for gatherings and events of limited duration.
One specific example of art in Isneauville was the “Arts & Couleurs” Salon. Its 18th edition took place from 15 to 23 November 2025 at the Salle Claude Monet in the Centre Sportif du Cheval Rouge. Painter Florence Anquetin was the guest of honour; 20 other artists from the fields of painting, sculpture and photography also took part. The edition therefore brought together several artistic disciplines, not just painting.
Sport and movement
The Padel Arena has six padel courts, three squash courts and three badminton courts. Padel is the most widely represented sport, with six courts; squash and badminton are also available, with three courts each. This makes it easy to identify the facility by the sport that interests you.
Weekly walks take place on Friday mornings and start from the car park at the Salle des Fêtes. Another type of activity was the “5-10 km d’Isneauville” event: its programme on 3 May 2026 included children’s and youth races, a 5 km race and a 10 km race. The dates distinguish these activities: the walks are scheduled weekly for Friday mornings, while the race programme was for the specific dated edition.
Walking paths, biodiversity and French cuisine
A footpath through the fields connects the town centre with the supermarket on Rue Avril Coeuret; it was described as part of the local footpath network in 2021. As path conditions can change, it is advisable to check the current conditions before setting off. The Mare de la biodiversité is located in the ZAC du Manoir and adds a local link to biodiversity.
For dining, Le Manoir is a specific local option: the restaurant is in the heart of Isneauville, is open to everyone and serves French cuisine. Alongside the cultural and recreational activities, it offers a range of themes for your stay, from architecture and art to sport, walks and dining.
