Saint-Honoré-Les-Bains brings together traces of its early crafts history, religious buildings, thermal architecture and outdoor activities. For planning your trip, you can organize these different highlights around culture, relaxation and outdoor pursuits.

Cultural History and Buildings

The Poterie-Faïencerie La Montagne operated in Saint-Honoré-Les-Bains from 1835 to 1926. The building of the Poterie de la Montagne is listed as a historic monument and is not open to visitors.

The Church of Saint-Loup has stained-glass windows made by Lucien Lobin in Tours between 1872 and 1889. Two place names are involved: Saint-Loup refers to the church associated with the windows, while Tours is where they were made.

The Château de La Montagne has two distinct periods in its building history: its original structure dates back to the 15th century, while it acquired its present appearance in the 18th century. It stands in a hamlet covering more than 25 hectares, listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments. The hamlet comprises 20 buildings and a tree-filled park.

The former Priory of Saint-Honorat was built in the 12th century and is classified as a Cluniac site. Meanwhile, benches, pools and steps in the Parc Thermal are decorated with Briare enamel mosaics. The artist Christian Gerber created the mosaics in 1950. The area's artistic and architectural history thus ranges from a medieval priory to a decorative feature of the thermal park.

Nature, Activities and Thermal Experiences

The Parc Champêtre is an eight-hectare natural area with a fitness trail, children's play facilities, a plant maze and a picnic area with barbecues. Its facilities combine opportunities for exercise and play with a place to picnic, so you can shape your visit around your own interests.

At the Étang des Sources, there is a fishing platform for people with disabilities, as well as the “Pêche Famille” label. The information about the platform refers to fishing at this body of water.

The “La Perle du Morvan” circular hiking trail is 11 km long; a shorter 9 km loop is also available, which is 2 km shorter. The trail is associated with Saint-Honoré-Les-Bains. Check current trail conditions before setting out.

The Thermal SPA offers 20 beauty or relaxation rituals using essential oils, as well as body massages, balneotherapy treatments and beauty rituals. The services are accessible to all age groups. Alongside outdoor activities, treatments at the Thermal SPA offer another distinct option for your stay.
