If you are considering a stay in Selište, you’ll find a clear connection to cycling: the village lies on the Moslavačka rapsodija, a circular route starting from Kutina. Another route description leads via Kutina, Kletište and Selište to Lake Mikleuška. For planning purposes, it’s worth distinguishing between the cycling loop and access to the lake: they differ in route and the described surface. The cycling loop returns to Kutina.

The Moslavačka rapsodija: a circular route with climbs

The Moslavačka rapsodija is approximately 23 kilometres long. From Kutina, it runs via Repušnica, Mramor brdo, Ciglenica, Mikleuška and Kompator brdo; Selište is also a stop. The loop is paved and includes several smaller climbs and one larger climb. This gives you two specific criteria to consider: the approximate total distance and a profile with repeated changes in elevation. Take both into account when planning your ride, rather than treating the distance alone as a description of the effort involved. Route conditions can change; check them before setting out.

Via Selište to Lake Mikleuška

Access to Lake Mikleuška leads via Kutina, Kletište and Selište, continuing on to Mikleuška. Most of this route is paved, while one section is gravel. This information applies to access to the lake and should not be conflated with the paved surface of the Moslavačka rapsodija. If you include the lake in your plans, you can take the gravel section into account for the journey there. As road surfaces can change due to maintenance, it’s a good idea to check their current condition before setting off.

From the stream to the Vis viewpoint

The Crkveni jarak forest trail starts at Lake Mikleuška. It follows a stream and a small waterfall to the Bela crkva archaeological site and the Vis viewpoint. Humka is an optional continuation. The route description thus leads from the stream and waterfall to an archaeological site and a viewpoint; continuing to Humka adds another destination to this sequence. Access and trail markings may change. Check both before setting out.

Vis and Humka: a viewpoint and a rest area

From the Vis viewpoint, the view extends across the lowlands, Lonjsko polje, Kutina and the surrounding area. At 488 metres, Humka is the highest point of Moslavačka gora; there is a covered rest area with a barbecue there. The two destinations play different roles in the route description: Vis is the viewpoint, while Humka is the optional continuation and also the highest point of the mountain range. If you plan the additional leg, you can extend your outing to include Humka. Before your visit, also check the condition of the viewpoint and rest area, as both may change.
