When planning a trip to Topola, you can choose from a range of experiences: water activities, climbing, wellness and Ikantalaka 2, a seaside beach in the Topola area. A cultural connection leads to the wider destination of Kavarna, where museums, churches and a traditional festival offer further points of interest.
Water activities and exercise
Topola Skies Aquapark offers a swimming pool, fast water slides, a food and drink bar, and other water activities. There is also a wave pool designed for families. The swimming pool, slides and wave pool each offer a different kind of water experience. Operators’ facilities and activities may change; check the details relevant to you before your visit.
Topola Skies Action Park offers rope courses with two difficulty levels and two climbing walls, each eight metres high. Topola Skies Adventure Park lists a beginner course at a height of 2.5 metres with ten obstacles. These details make it possible to compare the different formats: the rope courses are distinguished by their two difficulty levels, while the beginner course is described by its height and number of obstacles.
Topola Skies also offers water aerobics and facilities for football, volleyball, tennis, fitness, table tennis, billiards and darts. The selection ranges from water-based exercise and ball sports to fitness and other leisure activities. If you plan to use a particular facility or activity, it is advisable to check the operators’ current information in advance.
Wellness and other experiences
The Topola Skies Relax Zone includes a steam room, a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, a salt room, an ice room, an adventure cave and a relaxation area. This sets it apart from the water, climbing and sports activities: the focus here is on different spaces for relaxation.
A seafront zipline adds to the activities on offer. It is 468 metres long and located at a height of 118 metres; its speed is listed as up to 80 km/h. Topola Skies Bistro is situated on the rocks and has a terrace with sea views. As operators’ offerings and restaurant arrangements may change, check the details relevant to your visit in advance.
Ikantalaka 2 and beach conditions
Ikantalaka 2 is a seaside beach in the Topola area. Its total area is 6,883 square metres. The concession conditions provide for free access for visitors and reserve at least half of the active beach area for visitors’ own beach equipment. They also include requirements for water rescue, medical services and sanitary maintenance. These rules apply to the concession; if free access or bringing your own beach equipment is important to your plans, check the conditions before your visit.
Culture in the wider destination of Kavarna
The Kavarna Municipal Museum has an exhibition on the early Bulgarian state, the Slavs and the Proto-Bulgarians, featuring material about a significant pottery production centre discovered near Topola. The exhibition thus links local history with an archaeological site associated with Topola.
The Kavarna Ethnographic Complex includes a house museum, a restored shoemaker’s workshop, a lace-making workshop and a courtyard. It presents characteristic cultural features of the communities of the Dobrudzhans, Gagauz and Kotlentsi. Two churches also provide a specific historical context: St George’s Church was built in 1836, and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin in 1860.
In 2026, the Municipality of Kavarna held its traditional mussel and fish festival for the 23rd time. In August of that year, the programme included public cooking demonstrations and tastings of mussels, Black Sea fish and other seafood. This cultural and culinary connection complements Topola’s water and activity themes with a distinct perspective on Kavarna.
