In 2024, a group of students from EMEIEF Mário Pedro took part in an educational visit and meeting at Museu da Cana in Pontal as part of Projeto Verdear. In 2020, Casa da Cultura offered the public free workshops in dance, flute, guitar, handicrafts, theater and other areas.
