Apodi offers two clearly distinct landscape landmarks: Lagoa do Apodi and nearby Lajedo de Soledade. The Lagoa is 15 kilometers long and 2 kilometers wide. The 2017 edition of Carnaval de Apodi lasted five days. At Calçadão da Lagoa, there were stalls where food was especially in demand.
