Roldán offers culture in several formats: a summer series combines fairs and live performances, the municipal program includes theater, photography and art, and traditional festivals focus on food, music and dance. When choosing a reason to visit, it helps to decide whether you want to focus on a seasonal series, performing arts or a community festival.

Cultural Program, Theater and Art

The City of Roldán’s cultural program includes theater and musical comedy, photography, art and painting, as well as yoga for children. Its range spans stage productions, visual arts and activities for young participants. Theater performances in the 2026 program were held at the Sala Teatro of the Casa de la Cultura. Both the performing arts program and various art forms are therefore among Roldán’s cultural attractions.

Public art is also part of the cityscape: in August 2026, an artwork was created on the Muro de Chipped along Paseo de la Estación, intended to become part of the city’s visual heritage. In May 2026, the mobile cultural program of the Province of Santa Fe, “Mesa en Común. Jugar está en juego,” also came to Roldán. It uses play as a meeting point for people of all ages and complements the performing arts and art offerings with a community-oriented approach to culture.

Summer Series and Community Festivals

“Roldán bajo las estrellas” is a summer series that combines fairs with live performances and is considered a summer classic in Roldán. Its seasonal nature sets it apart from the year-round areas of the municipal cultural program: if you want to experience this particular format, plan around the summer dates.

The traditional Fiesta de Colectividades is held annually. The announced 2025 edition was set to feature stalls serving typical foods from different parts of the world, traditional music and dances, live performances, and space for artisans and local small businesses. Communities from Germany, Argentina, Austria, the United States, Spain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Syria, Switzerland, the Basque Country, Uruguay and Indigenous peoples were set to present cultural, artistic and gastronomic offerings. The festival thus brings together culinary and cultural contributions from many communities in one program.

“Roldán Produce” has a different focus: local businesses showcase products, services, processes and innovations at this biennial industrial fair. An edition for 2026 was announced. While the summer series and the Fiesta mainly bring together live performances, food and cultural presentations, the fair focuses on the local economy and its products.

Choosing Events as a Reason to Visit

Individual announced events also illustrate the different focuses. The Carnavales, announced for February 14 and 15, 2025, were planned as a family-oriented event with activities for adults and children at Paseo de la Estación. A formal ceremony, a fair featuring artisans and entrepreneurs, and music and dances were announced there for May 1, 2025, as part of the celebration of Roldán’s 159th anniversary. The ceremony was intended to serve as the central moment for honoring Roldán’s history.

To make your choice, consider the type of experience you want: the summer series combines fairs with live performances, the Fiesta combines food with music and dance, and the municipal program includes theater and visual arts. If you want to plan your stay around a particular edition, check its latest date announcement before choosing your accommodation.
