The Paseo de la Costa gives Vicente López Partido a distinct riverside perspective: the promenade along the Río de la Plata stretches from Hipólito Yrigoyen to General Paz. Vicente López Partido lies immediately south of the Ciudad de Buenos Aires, west of San Martín, north of San Isidro and east of the Río de la Plata.

Riverside paths, activities and birdwatching

The Paseo has a cycling path and areas for volleyball, football, tennis, table tennis, calisthenics and BMX. The promenade also features a bird observatory. This contrast can help you choose a focus: cycling and sports offer an active side, while the observatory provides a specific connection to birdwatching.

Nature spots with different perspectives

Parque Natural La Lucila also has a bird observatory, accessible via Paseo del Viento on Calle Borges. Nodo Lavalle offers a different focus: the wetland has boardwalks and viewpoints for birdwatching and photography. For nature enthusiasts, the bird observatories at Paseo de la Costa and Parque Natural La Lucila offer a contrast with the boardwalks and viewpoints at Nodo Lavalle, where you can enjoy both birdwatching and photography.

History across different time scales

Torre Ader offers a clear historical time marker: it was inaugurated on April 1, 1917, is a municipal historic monument and is open for public visits. At Quinta Trabucco, by contrast, the focus is on a donation. Around 1939, Ana Vigliano, the wife of José Antonio Trabucco, donated the quinta to the Municipality of Vicente López for public use and benefit. These two named places offer a dated construction milestone and a story of a municipal donation.

The Museo de la Ciudad de Vicente López broadens the view from individual dates to a longer timeline: its timeline shows important milestones in the Partido from its founding to the present and tells the story of its nine neighborhoods. This is a different scale from that of Torre Ader: rather than a single inauguration date, the museum presents the development of the Partido and its neighborhoods in context. Today, Cine Teatro York is part of the cultural secretariat of the Municipality of Vicente López; the building hosts various activities. The municipal Munro route describes Lumiton as the country's first film production company, founded in 1931.

Public spaces and neighborhood themes

A tour managed by the public administration takes you through public spaces that remain open to the community throughout the year. Program details may change, so check them in advance if you plan to take the tour. The tourism offering also highlights the neighborhoods’ gastronomy, artistic expression, historic shops, outdoor spaces, Paseo de la Costa and a wide range of activities. This means there is more to discover than individual attractions: alongside named cultural and natural sites, neighborhood themes and outdoor offerings are also part of the experience.
