Festivals, art and history offer different ways to shape a trip to Tres Arroyos. An official tourism description from January 2025 states that the Fiesta Provincial del Trigo had been celebrated without interruption since 1970 up to that point. If you would like to plan your stay around a festival, check the dates for the relevant edition in advance.

Fiesta del Trigo and Feria de Abril

Each year, several “pioneer farmers” are honored during the Fiesta Provincial del Trigo. Dance and music performers take the stage at the main Juan Pesalaccia stage; the specific program varies from one edition to the next. In Tres Arroyos Partido, the festival format also includes shopping areas, stalls run by business owners and artisans, fire pits, food areas and craft-brewed beer.

The Feria de Abril in Tres Arroyos offers a different focus: it is a recreation of the well-known festival in Seville, organized by the Club Español. Artisans take part in the event at Plaza España; food stalls set up for the occasion offer tastings of seafood paella, tortillas, Spanish potatoes, cream puffs, churros and cakes. The two festivals therefore highlight different aspects: the Fiesta del Trigo includes agriculture and a stage program, while the Feria de Abril features handicrafts and the foods listed above.

Art, Remembrance and History in Tres Arroyos

The Museo de Bellas Artes (MUBATA) houses the Vogelius Collection. It was donated to the municipal government and the community of Tres Arroyos. Those interested in the city’s history will also find a historical point of reference in the Sociedad Filantrópica Francesa de Tres Arroyos: it was founded as an independent society on December 16, 1894. Its primary aim was to bring together French settlers who had come to this region.

In the heart of Tres Arroyos is the Sitio de la Memoria de los Pueblos Originarios, a place for gathering and reflection. It honors the ancestral presence of Indigenous communities who inhabited these lands.

Near Tres Arroyos, the Ruinas del Molino Mayolas are designated as a municipal historic site. Molino Mayolas was the area’s first grain mill and was opened by the Spaniard Félix Mayolas in early 1890. The site thus connects the history of the mill with the development of agriculture in the region.
